It seems that when I finally grasp a concept I start to struggle in another. 😭 I’ve just started becoming more comfortable with anatomy and dynamic poses but my faces have been lacking unless really close headshots. It bugged me so much cause they looked so flat compared to my overall composition. I find myself struggling with lineart aswell, which again I used to not struggle with, this video helped me kinda realize art is like leveling up in a game. With each skill you level up/increase, you gotta level up the other traits to beat the next boss. I realized old art also looked flat but since my poses weren’t the best, it wasn’t the glaring issue and actually, funnily enough, helped the artwork seem better than it actually was. Anyways, I really recommend this video not only to beginners but to more ‘experienced’ (let’s be honest, we’re all beginners no matter how many years we’ve been practicing or working in the industry for 😭) artists. It actually points out what I was thinking but organizes it in a way I can understand. Thank you a bunch for your time and effort into creating this helpful video BNG! 🤍
